Events: Shades of Pink

Hi Salaam beauties,
lets take a moment to welcome the first ever Shades of Pink event hosted by two amazing ladies Kausar Parker and Haniefa Paleker-Gaib, they are both wife's and mom's, have day time jobs and also business woman, Kausar is the owner of an events company called KAUlaborations and Haniefa is the owner of a business called A Cubed Cover-ups.

Kausar & Haniefa
Kausar and Haniefa decided to put heads together and start this great initiative in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town because they have come to realize the need for innovation in the advertising of this particular industry. They are both from the Northern Suburbs and strongly feel that not enough is availabe in the north to help expose the female entreprenuers in the area.
Thus, the first SHADES of PINK was born!

They plan to host a series of sophosticated events in which they will showcase different businesses by way of an entertaining program and workshop.

The Shades of Pink initiative is deeply embedded in the WIN/WIN concept, and the belief that, as woman , we can all help eachother to gain success. They strongly believe in empowering each other and helping, particularly, new and upcoming businesses to gain exposure and so grow their client base. The event caters for woman from all walks of life.

On the 28th of October 2017 the first Shades of Pink event took place at the Durbanville Converence Centre, everything was thoroughly planned from the beginning to the end, they had a full line up from styling tips, give aways, fashion, make-up, to wellness and health tips.
On arrival guests were welcomed by friendly ladies that offered a welcome drink and laspaletas artisan icecream lollies, it was so refreshing and very delicious perfect for the hot day.

The MC for the day was none other than the well known amazing Roshan Isaacs , do I even still need to give an introduction of the beautiful and multi media talented Roshan.

So after the Welcoming and introduction the event kicked of with the Facebook Luckydraw Competition, Yes who doesnt love give-aways!

We then had scarf styling by the beautiful Taybah Khan from Scarf Bliss. The guests were so intrigued by how she was doing different styles in a matter of time.

Next on we had a beautiful presentation and explanation of Great Girls Cape Town, they are a non-profit project run by a diverse group of woman in Cape Town. They volunteer their time and expertise to empower, educate and upskill Gr.11 and 12 disadvantaged girls looking for support. (to find out more plz follow the link)
