All black

Hi lovelies,
Happy Weekend!

Today I'm sharing a outfit I wore on Woman's day, myself and my friends went out for lunch and a fun photoshoot afterwards, but I'll share more of that on my next blogpost.

To be honest I was never someone for all black everything I would always mix it with some other colour, but have been kinda liking it lately. Usually when I used to think of all black my thoughts went straight to the goth girl with black nailpolish, black lipstick, chains and spikes. Black is often associated with being too plain, emo or depressed, I know I'm guilty of asking people if they going to a funeral if they dressed in all black.

In contrast to the black I'm wearing I have been feeling very positive and motivated lately. Let me put it like this, I've been working on loving myself and my flaws more. If you don't know I'm a kind of person that hate a lot of things about myself and complain a lot about things I do or did wrong in my life ,mistakes I still make at work for example, I would go home and nag and my husband would constantly tell me you just human and it's human to make mistakes, everything can't be perfect all the time.

So on a more loving note to black fashionistas, according to a survey it's been concluded that black is the colour to wear when you're dressing up to impress. Those who wear black are actually seen as serious and reliable. Most people say they feel more confident and slimmer, some say they look chic and classic all the time. Black never goes out of fashion, coral or any other colour is not the new black, Black will always be black! I'm a person that match my colours and when I wear all black I don't have to question "does this match?". And the reason why alot of people obviously love black is because you can easily dress up and down.

I'm wearing :Yde top and earings/ Lovisa necklace and armband/ Edgars leather skinny/ Legit Fur /Bronx boots (by Edgars)/ Revlon colour stay lipstick

Sleeveless Trenchcoat

Since the first time I saw it a while ago, I wanted it, the the sleeveless trenchcoat is so chic and trending. For a modest dresser this is everything, the reason why I personally love it so much is because it covers the most parts needed to be covered by a modest dresser.  And don't think because it looks formal your restricted ,no not at all, you can wear it with anything believe me, a dress, a ripped jeans, wideleg pants I saw some wearing sneakers with it, so dress up or down, what ever you feel. I will be adding different looks in the future.

Outfit details:
YDE Sleeveless trenchcoat/ Woolworths blacktop/ Foschini black pants/ Edgars White heels/ PnP clothing scarf/ Lovisa necklace/Ziri rings,earings

Midi rings and Hand chains

Jewellery is the last thing I put on to complete my outfit. Midi rings has been one of the biggest fashion trends for a while and it doesn't look like it's going anywhere soon because there's always different designs and styles coming out. What can I say about hand chains, it can look good on any hand, old or young, it gives that bling to your hand, with so many styles to choose from you'll just get confused choosing. With the warmer days coming it will look so good on your hand also giving that boho feel.
Believe it or not It's not everyone that knows about midi rings or hand chains etc. I get asked alot what is this small little rings called on your fingers?

Here's how you can more or less wear it, there's no right or wrong, have fun with it.1

Jewelery is like putting on lipstick
Vera Wang

Midi rings : Legit
Hand Chain : MrP
Coin Necklace :Zuri
Pearl Armbands : Yde

The top picture I have less rings on giving more attention to the handchain but if you feel for more midi rings, I don't see why not. (Bottom picture )

These silver jewellery are all from Zuri, got them for super cheap at their sale two weeks ago . The rings can even be turned around for a different look, and the silver arm Cuff goes perfectly with the rings hey.

Would you wear your jewellery like this or do you feel it's too much?
I like wearing mine so for those prying eyes always looking at a persons hands I love giving them some eye candy  :)

Thank you for reading and keep Shining ♡

Accessorize...

Who loves to accessorize, I just can't complete my outfit without accessorizing, anything bling-bling goes, accessories galore, more is more kinda thing ,whether its earings,  necklace, bangles, rings or all of it. A simple, plain outfit can be jazzed up instantly with a few bling things or even a scarf.
I get so upset with myself the moment I realise I forgot to put earings on, I feel incomplete, I just don't feel right. I thought I was the only one but a few times I saw ladies put on their facebook status that they forgot their earings and they soo not happy about it.
But as much as I love jewellery , the weird part of it all is, when I get home that's the first thing I remove, I then want to feel comfortable, it suddenly irritates me, but I think that's normal hey.

These are the few Shinies I've added to my collection, some recent some not too recent.

This one is my latest from The Ramp Store

Lovisa

Boho pearl earings from Foschini

Some love from Zuri

Zuri armband and legit midi rings

I just love big statement necklaces,  I know not all people do. This one has been on my wishlist for a while, its all over instagram, every time I go to purchase it I see something else, and when l see it again on a picture I want it so badly, like that one picture says, nothing haunts us like the things we didn't buy.

And this New Midnight Gem Angel Wing earcuff, so stunning

Thanks for reading my blog :) Keep Shining xo Nadia SS ♡
