Event:Women of Hope

Last week Saturday I attended a Fundraiser for people with Alzheimers , the event was hosted by Munebah Visagie Founder of Women of Hope ,you can find them on facebook by following the link.

The tickets cost R100, but for that R100, you got: Cheese and wine/Juice for those that don't drink (on entry), live band, something sweet & edible and a goodie bag. They also had some great prizes eg: Ratanga tickets and some lovely pamper vouchers. There were also an auction, and a R5 raffle for a brand new microwave.


The tables were beautifully decorated and each one had proteas as a centerpiece, the bands music echoed through the hall and had people on their feet waltzing.

The evening was a success and it really feels good doing something good and attending events like these.
